Dr. Bo Boylan is the founding and managing principal of the Employee Assessment Group, a boutique strategy and executive assessment consulting firm. Prior to his current venture, he worked for Citigroup Venture Capital, leading the commercial business functions of several of their portfolio companies.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Boylan served as the Chief Operating Officer of Casco International, a publicly traded employee services firm. Dr. Boylan has also served on the faculty of the American Management Association, and with the University of North Carolina System, creating and delivering executive leadership and corporate and continuing education courses in North America and Europe. He has also been a guest lecturer at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

An experienced board director, he served on the boards of Learning Station, Casco International, and currently serves on the board of CritiCore Protective Wear. Dr. Bo Boylan is our guest today on The @Work Podcast.

Melanie Henderson is the owner of Therapy Hair Salon and Spa. Therapy is one of the highest-rated salons in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, with two locations, dedicated employees, and a fiercely loyal clientele.
Mel grew up in a trailer park in upstate New York, raised by a loving, but barely literate father. She started doing hair for friends in high school, but instead became a dental hygienist— a career choice she didn’t enjoy. At the urging of her tight knit family, she went back to school, made hair her career, moved to Charlotte and went to work.

Hilary Cronheim is the Senior Director of the USGA Golf Museum and Library, located in Liberty Corner, New Jersey. She oversees the execution of the museum’s strategic initiatives; including strengthening its premier collection, expanding public programming, leveraging digital media, enhancing access to research collections, and reinforcing its role as the world’s leading golf center for scholarship.Cronheim joined the USGA in March of 2015 as Special Collections Librarian, and most recently served as senior librarian overseeing the world’s largest and most comprehensive golf library. Through her work in the library, she developed strong relationship with researchers and scholars worldwide, and played a critical role in supporting some of the USGA’s most important initiatives; including rules modernization, distance insights and USGA Championships.Prior to her time at the USGA, Cronheim gained invaluable experience in some of the nation’s leading museums, including the Art Institute of Chicago and the Frick Collection in New York City. Cronheim has a master’s degree in art, art history and visual studies from Duke University, and a bachelor’s in art history from Cornell. Hood has written a syndicated column on politics and public policy for North Carolina newspapers, appearing often as a radio and television commentator. He is the author of seven nonfiction books on subjects such as business, advertising, public policy and political history.
